About the show
Petra is a young director and single mother trying to put her life back together after a divorce. She is preparing a film on the poet Desanka Maksimović. Her father death stirs up feelings she had not known she carried. She is invited to her home town for a 15-year high-school reunion, and her best friend is getting married on Ada Bojana. When she becomes involved with Vuk, her life turns into an emotional and sexual rollercoaster. After her friend wedding, lying naked on the sand, Petra passes through a catharsis — she lets go of the pain, and the butterfly that has followed her throughout the film flies away. Her conscience is clear; she is ready to spread her wings.

Our programme is diverse: theatre performances, film screenings, stand-up comedy, concerts, readings, seminars and children's workshops.

Tickets are sold online via each event's page and, for some programmes, at the door before the show. HELSE members receive discounts on selected events.
Membership is open to anyone who wants to support the association. The annual fee is CHF 70, with reduced rates for students and pensioners.
