How to pick the right event in our language in Switzerland
When people first land on our site, they often ask me: what to pick? Theatre, film, or concert?
The truth is — there is no wrong choice, but there is the right choice for you.
If you want to laugh and unwind — comedy is always a safe bet.
If you are after emotion and story — the more serious plays will take you deeper.
If you want energy and good company — a concert is the right call.
In Switzerland today there are more and more events in our language, but the difference is in the atmosphere and the people behind them — and you can feel it.
With us, the audience does not come just to watch or listen — they come to live through something special, to spend an unforgettable evening and to keep talking about it for a long, long time.
So my advice always stays the same: pick whatever pulls you the most right now.
Because the best event is not the most popular one — it is the one that hits you at the right moment.

Why I come back to Theater Spektakel every summer
Evica Marković20 August 2026A few hours after the performance Multitud, I caught myself thinking only about the people I had met on my way to the theatre — about the families sitting on the grass by the lake, the children running between the food stalls, and the elderly couple who, holding hands, waited patiently for some other performance to begin. Maybe that is exactly why I come to Theater Spektakel every year…
